Custom Components
SPX FLOW can develop, design and fabricate custom process parts and components. Based on customer need, SPX FLOW process engineers specially design measured and calibrated components to accommodate an industrial process. Custom components are often assembled to order, integrating the attributes needed by a process to exacting detail.
CUSTOMIZED TECHNOLOGIES
Specially engineered SPX FLOW components are built to detailed functional requirements. SPX FLOW application engineers inspect a customer’s current process and vital points of connection with the commissioned components to facilitate seamless product integration. The fabrication of custom components that can function within a customer’s process is core to their development. SPX FLOW will custom design components to fit equipment outside of SPX FLOW brand technologies, designing industrial components and solutions that accommodate competitor industrial equipment.
STONE PICK-A-PACK
The Stone Pick-A-Pack product range is based on a system of modular construction. Stone modular construction refers to specialized components designed to be interchangeable, allowing for a depth of customization. The Stone modular construction extends to any combination of drive motor, pump, reservoir, and control valving that can be either assembled into or manifolded onto the “international” endhead. This endhead is the basis of modular construction, the endhead functions as the core to which every other component connects forming a customized product range. The endhead is available in three configurations, with either NPTF, SAE or G3/8 porting.
ASSEMBLE TO ORDER
SPX FLOW brand Power Team builds custom pump components into a specialized and acutely developed hydraulic pump. The assemble to order products are based on customer input. A customer selects the basic pump and accompanying accessories or components, to which Power Team engineers develop, build and test the customized product. This process of specialization allows a variable range of product attributes like energy saving, high efficiency or high functioning systems.
CUSTOM MATERIALS
SPX FLOW custom-designed components can be fabricated in a range of materials to accurately accommodate a specific manufacturing process. Custom SPX FLOW components can be manufactured to establish higher tensile strengths, reduce wear or to function with exposure to certain reactants. Customized components may also require lower weights or higher weights depending on functionality, leading the fabrication material to be vital to effective component use.
PROCESS SOLUTIONS
SPX FLOW brand partners are experienced and knowledgeable within the manufacturing industry. Accompanying the decades of experience possessed by SPX FLOW brands, they also utilize cutting edge manufacturing processes and technologies to design calibrated custom components. SPX FLOW designed components are intently designed to address a customer’s need. Solving process inefficiencies and blockages are core to the value of SPX FLOW’s capability to design custom components.
